That’s good to know, I guess.  It’s GREAT to know if you are in the auto body repair business!  Cleaning your weld surface and keeping everything you do as clean as possible is very important Taking extra steps to clean your parts as thoroughly as possible will help you make a clean and strong weld.  That’s the bottom line at our shop.

Patience is tantamount when engaging in the art of aluminum welding.  A big mistake we see that beginner aluminum welders make when learning how to weld aluminum is not waiting for the puddle to fully initiate.  You learn that the welder actually cleans the base metal before the aluminum turns molten.
