Collision repair professionals are really no different than
any other professional…they are resistant to change. For example, it took many years for repairers
to make the switch to “MIG welding” for welding early unibody vehicles. It was a technology that was unfamiliar to
many and there wasn’t even a perceived need for change.
Today there is steel welding, that has been the staple of the
industry for many years, and aluminum welding, which is different…a lot
different! Unlike steel GMA (MIG)
welding, aluminum welding is truly the embodiment of MIG welding because 100
percent argon shielding gas is used.
You don’t have to understand any of this, but what we hope
you will remember is that when you have a vehicle collision in the Louisville
area you will think first of The Don Embry Body Shop. For six decades they have repaired damaged
cars around the Louisville area from their shop at 8272 Dixie Highway. Just call for an appointment (502) 935-1373.
