Car Accidents Don’t Always Just Affect the Frame.

There may be plenty of hidden damage if your vehicle has been involved in an accident.  Car owners in the Louisville area might also experience one or more car windows and their power sources that are broken or badly damaged.  In such cases your best option is to get it (them) repaired by a reliable professional.

For reliable service, you must go to professionals who are experienced in the field of power window repair.  Some repairing shops may charge very little, but beware because they may be doing that with cheap quality parts which eventually interfere in the efficiency of your vehicle in the future.  That’s NOT acceptable!

When The Don Embry Body Shop repairs a collision damaged vehicle they pay attention to each and every aspect including the frame, suspension, keyless entry, power windows, door hinges, etc.  When Don himself opened the business back in 1962 he left no stone unturned and that’s the way it is today at The Don Embry Body Shop located at 8272 Dixie Highway in Louisville.

Even After Nearly Six Decades - Today is the Most Important.

Collision repair professionals are really no different than any other professional…they are resistant to change.  For example, it took many years for repairers to make the switch to “MIG welding” for welding early unibody vehicles.  It was a technology that was unfamiliar to many and there wasn’t even a perceived need for change.

Today there is steel welding, that has been the staple of the industry for many years, and aluminum welding, which is different…a lot different!  Unlike steel GMA (MIG) welding, aluminum welding is truly the embodiment of MIG welding because 100 percent argon shielding gas is used.

You don’t have to understand any of this, but what we hope you will remember is that when you have a vehicle collision in the Louisville area you will think first of The Don Embry Body Shop.  For six decades they have repaired damaged cars around the Louisville area from their shop at 8272 Dixie Highway.  Just call for an appointment (502) 935-1373.

It Goes Back Over 200 Years.

Almost nothing in the auto body repair business goes back over two centuries.  We were still using a horse and buggy for crying out loud!  One thing that does, however, is the type of paint your favorite shop in the Louisville area may be using.  A great product such as paint can and should stand the test of time.

Back in 1792 (that’s the 18th century folks) Wiert Willem Sikkens built a paint factory in the city of Groningen Germany.  Today, Sikkens is a multinational brand and their passion for developing the best decorative coatings have grown and gained customers throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

At The Don Embry Body Shop here in Louisville, we use Akzo Noble's Sikkens as our choice when it comes to refinishing.  We stand behind the quality and history of this premier product when it comes to re-painting your vehicle after a collision.  The Don Embry Body Shop relies on the best of new and old located at 8272 Dixie Highway.  Call (502) 935-1373.
